Environmental Stewardship Seeds Student Worker

Description:
MnDOT’s Office of Environmental Stewardship (OES) is looking for a student worker with GIS experience to help manage environmental mapping data. Your work will support better coordination across teams and help streamline decision-making for transportation planning and projects.
Primary Tasks:
- Help create, update, and maintain GIS databases and internal/web-based applications using tools like ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Story Maps
- Support the development of “Green Assets” to track vegetation investments and functional roadside vegetation
- Research and assist in developing GIS applications, datasets, and tools based on the needs of OES staff

College students who meet the program’s eligibility requirements may apply at any time.
