Sign installation project on southbound Hwy 33 postponed to Feb. 12, 13 in Cloquet

DULUTH, Minn. — An overhead sign structure installation project has been postponed due to weather. The sign, to be installed on southbound Hwy 33 at the roundabout near Interstate 35 in Cloquet, will now be installed Tuesday, February 12 and Wednesday, February 13.

The southbound right lane (north of the roundabout) will close Tuesday afternoon. This will allow delivery and assembly of the sign structure.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, both southbound lanes will close for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. This will allow for the installation of the sign structure that extends over the traffic lanes.

After installation of the structure, motorists will encounter southbound single lane closures while signs are installed on the structure.
