Blowing snow creates hazardous driving conditions

No travel advisory expanded in northwest Minnesota

BEMIDJI, Minn. – (2:30 p.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation has expanded the no travel advisory to state and federal highways in northern Beltrami and Roseau counties in northwestern Minnesota due to blowing and drifting snow. A no travel advisory is still in effect for state and federal highways in Norman, Polk, Kittson, Marshall, Pennington and Red Lake counties.

Snowplows continue to operate, but motorists are advised not to travel until conditions improve.
