Hwy 14 corridor analysis project hosts open house is Oct. 10 in Byron
BYRON, Minn. — The public is invited to attend an open house meeting Oct. 10 in Byron to discuss the US 14 Corridor Analysis project that is developing a long-term vision and construction implementation plan for Hwy 14 from Kasson to Rochester, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Olmsted County and its partners at MnDOT, the cities of Bryon and Kasson, and Dodge County are analyzing the Hwy 14 corridor and are seeking input from residents and others who use the highway as the group continues their work toward developing a long-term vision and construction implementation plan between Kasson, Byron, and Rochester for Hwy 14 from Hwy 57 (Mantorville Avenue) to Olmsted County Road 104 (60th Avenue).
The public open house will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Oct. 10 at Byron City Hall, 680 Byron Main Ct NE, Byron. There will be a formal presentation at 5:45 p.m., but those attending may drop by at any time.
The open house format allows for informal discussion, questions, and answers regarding the corridor study’s current work. Information boards will be set up to allow attendees the opportunity to provide input and participate in discussions specific to Hwy 14.
