Hwy 60 Windom Corridor Study open house set for March 9
MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), in partnership with the City of Windom, will be hosting an open house for the Hwy 60 Windom Corridor Study on Monday, March 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Windom Community Center, 1750 Cottonwood Lake Dr., Windom.
Attendees can learn more about the corridor study, review existing roadway conditions, and provide feedback to project staff about issues, opportunities, and community priorities for corridor improvements. No formal presentation is planned. Attendees are welcome to arrive anytime and light refreshments will be provided.
MnDOT, in partnership with the City of Windom, is conducting a transportation study which will shape future reconstruction and create a long-term vision for the Hwy 60 corridor through Windom, including portions of Hwy 71 and Hwy 62 . Throughout the year, the study will include a range of stakeholder and community engagement opportunities to collect input on community values and vision for the corridor.
