Southbound 61 along the North Shore detoured for culvert replacement

DULUTH, Minn. – Southbound Hwy 61 between Silver Bay and Beaver Bay will be detoured beginning Wednesday, Oct. 4, due to a culvert replacement.

Northbound Hwy 61 will have intermittent lane shifts and shoulder closures, and southbound will require a detour onto Lake County Road 11 in Silver Bay to Lake County Road 4/Lax Lake Road, returning to Hwy 61 in Beaver Bay.
