MnDOT to host public meeting for London Road project in Duluth

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 5:30 p.m. in the Duluth East High School auditorium, 301 N. 40th Ave. E., to give an update on the London Road/Hwy 61 project in Duluth.  

The London Road project is scheduled for construction in 2026-27 and stretches from 26th Avenue East to 60th Avenue East. The project includes roundabouts at 26th Avenue East and 40th Avenue East, added left turn lanes, pedestrian enhancements, drainage improvements and more. The Feb. 12 public meeting will provide an update on the project, detours during construction and landscaping.

For those unable to attend the public meeting in person, materials will be posted to the project website mndot.gov/d1/projects/londonroad.
