Roundabout construction on Hwy 3 in Rosemount begins June 9
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Crews will close Highway 3 between Connemara Trail and 145th Street in Rosemount on June 9, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Monday, June 9, Highway 3 will be closed in both directions between Connemara Trail and 145th Street to allow crews to create a roundabout at 142nd Street for safety and accessibility and improve drainage along Highway 3. This section of Highway 3 is expected to reopen in September.
During this closure there will be a signed detour using McAndrews Road to Pilot Knob Road to 140th Street west to Highway 3. Local access will be maintained between Connemara Trail and 140th Circle, and between 145th Street and 143rd Street.
Also starting June 9 through September, the pedestrian trail running parallel to southbound Highway 3 at 142nd, and northbound Highway 3 at 143rd Street west will be closed. There will be a signed detour using Highway 3 to Koch Minnesota Trail to Burnley Way to the pedestrian tunnel under Highway 3.
