MnDOT to host Aug. 14 public open house for future Hwy 10 resurfacing project in Detroit Lakes
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation, in partnership with the city of Detroit Lakes, invite the public to an open house on Thursday, Aug. 14, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., to learn more about the future Highway 10 project from Detroit Lakes to Frazee. The open house will be held at the Detroit Lakes City Hall, located at 1025 Roosevelt Ave.
The formal presentation starts at 6 p.m. Project staff will be available to provide information about the overall project, current preliminary design alternatives, projected timeline, and answer questions.
The project includes resurfacing Highway 10 from County Road 54 in Detroit Lakes to County Road 10 near Frazee, as well as intersection improvements at East Shore Drive, McHugh Road and 290th Avenue in Detroit Lakes. Construction is currently scheduled for 2029.
