Highway 104 and County Road 18 intersection south of Glenwood to become all-way stop
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.—On Wed., June 3, weather permitting, crews will install an all-way stop at the intersection of Highway 104 and Pope County Road 18 south of Glenwood, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
To increase safety at the intersection, MnDOT is changing the traffic control from a two-way stop to a four-way stop. Signs and pavement markings will be installed on Highway 104 to accommodate the change; stop signs already exist at the County Road 18 portion of the intersection. Stop signs will be illuminated with LED blinking lights.
Message boards and signs will be placed in advance of the intersection on Highway 104 to warn drivers of this change. Drivers should use caution when driving through the intersection while the changeover process is happening.
