About the project

Construction on Hwy 87 between Hwy 71 and Hubbard, and Hubbard CR 13 to Hwy 64 will take place in 2025.
The western project includes reconstructing Highway 87 and replacing culverts on Hwy 87 from Hwy 71 to east of Hubbard, including curb and gutter in Hubbard, and a box culvert replacement at Long Lake. This project will take place May through October 2025.
The eastern project includes resurfacing and culvert replacements from Hubbard CR 13 to Highway 64. This project will take place August through September 2025.

This project will include a safer road, safer intersections, longer lasting driving surface and improved drainage.
Staging
Stage 1: May 19-July 8
• Rural reconstruct from Hwy 71 to CR 6
• Urban reconstruct from Lake Street in Hubbard to east project limits
Stage 2: July 8-mid-October
• Rural reconstruct from near CR 6 to Lake Street in Hubbard

Open House April 30:
MnDOT hosted a public open house on April 30 in Hubbard for community members to learn about this summer’s construction plans for Highway 87 Hubbard.
