Current traffic impacts
Work zone on Highway 114. Culvert locations shown on map are approximate.
- Highway 114 between Lowry and Interstate 94 closed to thru-traffic until October.
- Local traffic only: If you have destination on Hwy 114, you are permitted to enter the work zone to get there. Remember you are in an active work zone, please travel with caution and obey all signage and barriers.
- Crews will start with culvert replacements, starting on the south end on May 19, working north.
- Residential access is maintained, but areas where culverts are being replaced may be impassable at times and you may need to use an alternate route around the work site.
- Work at each culvert site may take 1-3 days to complete.
- Detour: During construction, Highway 114 will be detoured to I-94, Highway 29 and Highway 55.
- Highway 27 will remain open to cross traffic, but motorists should expect lane closures and to slow down/obey any traffic control.
