Approximately 3.6 miles of I-90 from Diagonal Rd. to Hwy 60 in Worthington will undergo pavement and bridge improvements. Additionally, improvements are planned for lighting, drainage, and guardrail. In preparation for the project, crossovers will be constructed in 2026 to allow for head-to-head traffic during construction in 2027 and 2028.
This work will be conducted in a similar timeframe to the nearby Hwy 59 Worthington project in 2027 and 2028.

- Construct crossovers on I-90 for bridge replacements
- Resurface the I-90 eastbound lanes from Diagonal Rd. to Hwy 60
- Replace I-90 bridges over Rowe Ave. and Hwy 59
- Replace lighting at Diagonal Rd., Hwy 59, and Hwy 60 interchanges
