Svea
- Construct a left-turn lane (for both north and southbound traffic) at the intersection of Hwy 71 and CR 3 near Svea
Traffic impacts

A detour will be in place for the duration of the project.
- Vehicles – Hwy 23 to CR 5 to CR 3 to 135th St. to Hwy 23
- Trucks – Hwy 23 to CR 5 to Hwy 7 to Hwy 23
Svea

Project updates

Hwy 23 Raymond
- All prep work for paving is expected to be completed by May 23; paving could begin May 27, weather and readiness permitting.
- Crews completed ditch work.
Hwy 71 Svea
- Work will continue once operations on Hwy 23 are completed
- Coordination underway with power company to begin pipe installation
