Lane closures
Mon, May 4 through Fri, May 8
- Jordan Ave. South (east side of Hwy 169) in St. Louis Park is reduced to one lane south of the Hwy 169 ramps
Mon, May 4 through Wed, May 13
- Eastbound Cedar Lake Rd. is reduced to one lane over Hwy 169 between Jordan Ave. South in Minnetonka and Jordan Ave. South in St. Louis Park
Upcoming
Information about upcoming traffic impacts will be provided as details become available. Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures and lane shifts on Cedar Lake Rd. throughout the project. Jordan Ave. South in Minnetonka will be reduced to one lane between Cove Dr. and just south of the Hwy 169 ramps with a temporary signal to direct traffic. Jordan Ave. South will be closed between Cedar Lake Rd. and just north of the Hwy 169 ramps for approximately one month during construction in St. Louis Park and in Minnetonka. These closures will not occur at the same time.
About this project
We will be repaving Jordan Ave. South and Cedar Lake Rd. near Hwy 169 and making sidewalk improvements, as well as upgrading storm sewers. This work is necessary to maintain the infrastructure and extend its lifespan.
We are also replacing the signals at the Cedar Lake Rd. and Jordan Ave. South intersections in Minnetonka and St. Louis Park.

- Replace sidewalk along west side of Jordan Ave. South from Cove Dr. to Cedar Lake Rd. in Minnetonka
- Replace sidewalk along north side of Cedar Lake Rd. from Westview Terrace to Jordan Ave. in St. Louis Park
- Build new sidewalk along east side of Jordan Ave. South from the Hwy 169 northbound ramps to Cedar Lake Rd. in St. Louis Park
- Upgrade three storm sewers that drain to Hannan Lake
