About this project

Hwy 121 and Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis project location map.
We are reducing Hwy 121 and Lyndale Ave./Co. Rd. 22 to one lane in both directions between Hwy 62 and 56th St. in Minneapolis. We are reducing lanes due to low traffic levels. We are making changes to the concrete island near the Hwy 121 and Hwy 62 interchange to make it safer for motorists entering WB Hwy 62 from Hwy 121.
Summary of work
- Remove inside lanes and repave Hwy 121 and Lyndale Ave. between Hwy 62 and 56th St.
- Reconstruct approximately 300 ft. of NB Hwy 121, just north of the pedestrian bridge that crosses over Hwy 121
- Replace signals and add accessible curbs at the intersection of Hwy 121 and 58th St.
- Adjust dimensions of concrete island along Hwy 121 at the entrance ramp to WB Hwy 62
- Remove and replace guardrail
