Project update meeting
You're invited to come and visit with MnDOT and learn about the upcoming Washington St. (Hwy 210) roadwork project in 2026 and 2027.

Guests will have an opportunity to meet the project team, ask questions and learn about tentative work and detour plans/routes.
The project will reconstruct and improve both directions of Hwy 210 (Washington St.) in 2026 and 2027. Local access to businesses and residences will be open; however expect changes when in the work zone. Through traffic will encounter detours to complete work beneath the road.
Tentative schedule
- 2026 work: Hwy 210 east limits to Kingwood St. area, includes roundabouts and new connections at mall/railyard area
- 2027 work: Hwy 210 west limits to about Kingwood St. area, includes the Mississippi River bridge
- 2028 work: Wrap up any remaining work
